Law & Order SVU fans will really enjoy this. i know i did. ok so you've all read the lesbian fan fiction where Olivia and Alex get down, right? and Mariska Hargitay (Olivia) has mentioned a few times in the press that she finds her *chick-we-wish-was-a-dyke* status to be very flattering. good times.

but i dont remember hearing anything from Stephanie March (Alex). this past week, she catered to her fans with the help of Tina Fey and her band of misfits from the new show "30 Rock".

its a show i need to adore. its a show im supposed to be absolutely in love with because Tina Fey is one of my favorite people on this earth. but its just not as funny as it needs to be to excuse her from leaving SNL as head writer and co-anchor on the Weekend Update.

aaanyway, in the latest episode, Stephanie March showed up as a lesbian! i was going to post all 3 parts of the show, but people on youtube seemed to have disabled the embed feature for 2 of them. so this is the one remaining...part 2 of 3.

i was just made aware of "The Cause of Lacaze". 35 year old Shahnaz Lacaze (sounds like "la-cause") was very recently diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer called angiosarcoma.

my mother has cancer so this means a lot to me. and the fact that Shahkaz is so young and is part of our *community* makes this hit very close to home.

Shahnaz' friends are trying to raise $5,000 to pay for the health insurance deductible. they've raised $2,000 so far and are still going strong. any amount will help. if you make a donation (or buy one of their shirts), let me know (dont have to tell me the amount)...im not sure what i'll do with the list of names, but i figured i could help somehow and i REALLY want you guys to pitch in if you can...

i'm not sure if this post qualifies as "lesbian" or "lesbian-friendly" from my description at the top of this site. after seeing Amy Sedaris on Letterman last year (she seems to be on his show 2-3 times per year), i thought she was a lesbian. then i read she used to date a guy who helped her create "Strangers with Candy". the character she plays in that tv show/movie spinoff is bisexual.

does anyone have definitive proof that Amy is too (or not)? if so, lemme know!

a new show i helped create!

im soooo happy to be able to announce a new project ive been working on! you might have seen/heard me talking about my good friend terra naomi. she's a singer/songwriter in los angeles. this summer, she put a few vids of her singing in her living room online and youtube.com featured her on their front page TWICE because they love her music so much. since then, she's received thousands and thousands of fan emails, been on CNBC, been to england and back and has received some awesome feedback from around the world. its been crazy.

i was fortunate enough to be able to help create the newest addition to her online video promotions/sharing world: a new reality show exclusive to youtube called "Terra Naomi: Virtuality"! this is the first episode and a new episode will appear on youtube EACH saturday!

little known fact: i played the guitar solo in the background of the first scene. i was asked to leave the set shortly after because--just like in the case of the "mmm mmmms" in "Gia,"--i was not in fact asked to do this. i was on set. saw the scene being filmed and started playing what was in my heart. can you blame me? if loving them is wrong, i dont wanna be right.
