Last Spring when they showed that "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off "Private Practice" or whatever it's called, I got increasingly irritated as the hour went on because there were SO many characters and SO many actors from other well-known shows. So I haven't been watching the new season. And according to my Entertainment Weekly subscription, neither have a lot of people.
But what is good about the show is Kate Walsh. She somehow became a bit of a lesbian icon without ever setting foot inside a woman's vagina...sexually. I mean she sets foot inside vaginas for a living on both shows. She's a vagina doctor. Which, by the way, is my official title given to me by many an ex-girlfriend. *raised eyebrow* *pouring red wine* Ladies?
Anyway! this chick sent in this clip from David Spade's talk show where Kate has a really hilarious 5 minutes talking about her position on Maxim's Top 100 Hottest bitches list or whatnot. Watch til the end cause it gets increasingly funnier.
On a somewhat unrelated note, my friend Dianne and I (almost literally) ran into Mr. Taye Diggs--Kate's co-star--last week while going to see Itty Bitty Titty Committee. He was in the underground parking lot searching aimlessly for his car. Dianne almost crashed when I pointed the wee man out. I thought it was only appropriate for me to walk up to him out of nowhere, call him "Mr. Taye Diggs," and ask if I could help him find his car. As the wee man sipped on his sippy cup, looking a tad frightened and hopeful at the same time, he answered, "No, I think I'm good." and then walked off into the non-sunset.
Oh, Mr. Taye Diggs...next time, you will be mine. Next time.

I don't know if you knew this, but it was actually Kate's 40th birthday when you posted this which makes you even more awesome. I saw Kate's Anatomy as the title of the blog, and I was like...did Arlan actually do a post about Kate Walsh?

By the way, I've seen that Maxim top 100 thing quite a few times already, but I still love it and it still cracks me up every time.

kate walsh is hot. i have loved her for a long time. which is why i'm pissed that they're totally going to cancel this private practice show. BRING HER BACK TO GREY'S, I SAY.

well, that video is sooooo amazing, its actually been on my page for about....two and a half months.
I've loved Kate Walsh since grey's started....but i first saw it when season two was on tv.
but now i've seen almost all of the seasons, not the new one...:(
