You like what I did there with the post title? Yeah, me too. Some of my best work, I'd say.

Now you may have heard the little rumor circulating that Rihanna and Ashton Kutcher are dating because some weird paparazzi peops stalked her and realized that she went to his new house from midnight to 4am recently. Whatevs. I think they'd make a really cute couple, but how is that proof of anything? By that logic, CVS and I have been dating for YEARS. People have sex during the day too, ya know.

Anyhoo, Rihanna was asked about it by a very bold reporter in London today, and this is what she had to say:

Where Was Megan Fox--or I, For That Matter!-- When "Te Amo" Was Being Filmed??

I'd like to give a special shoutout to Rihanna's breasts and Megan Fox for not speaking in this video:

Kidding aside, I think Megan did a really good job here. I am a bit upset that she decided to jump on the Rihanna bandwagon AFTER this lady-on-lady vid was filmed, but oh wells:

A few months ago when I found out that out lesbian rapper Melange Lavonne was looking for the right director/producers of her next music video, I instantly thought of the perfect group of people for her to partner with. I put her in touch with the only lesbian-run independent film production company (and the people that brought us "Itty Bitty Titty Committee"), POWER UP. Months of hard work have paid off and they've just released a really cool video for Melange's song "Domestic Abuse." It's definitely going to get people talking, just like her video from 2007 "Gay Bash," which was one of the most played videos on LOGO in 07 and 08. Oh and just in case you're wondering, this song was recorded and the video filmed before the Rihanna/Chris Brown incident:

I Have to Say it...

I normally wouldn't post anything from TMZ on my blog (unless it was something really, really funny or ridiculous) but I just saw this picture and I had to. This is a picture of Rihanna taken by police the night Chris Brown attacked her.

I just want to say that if you are in an abusive relationship right now, and you've either been too scared to do anything, or in denial, or maybe not even sure that what the person is doing to you IS abuse, please seek help. Nobody has the right to do this to you. There's nothing you could have done to justify it. No matter what they say, they're NOT sorry, and they WILL do it again. I hope beyond all hope that no one reading this IS going through this right now. But if you are... there's still a chance to get out of it. I don't want to get really morbid, but it occurred to me that this picture of Rihanna could have just as easily been a picture taken at the morgue, if he had gone *that* much further. Or if the person hadn't heard her screaming and called the police. Or if this had never been discovered, and 2 years from now he decided to push her out of a hotel window instead of "just" beating her in a car like he was in a fucking prize fight. Don't let this be you for one more day:


...and yes, a lesbian can be abusive against her lesbian girlfriend/wife (some people really don't know that, so I'm telling you). And words can be just as abusive as fists sometimes.
