Jenny, We Think You've Lost Your Mind...

As most of you who have been reading my site for a while now know, I like to talk about my wonderful friend Terra Naomi as often as possible:-) I honestly don't think there's anyone else on the planet, besides Terra, her parents and her brothers, who knows more about her songs than I do. But it took a complete stranger to help me figure out something that should have been SO obvious from the moment I heard one song in particular...

This song is called "Jenny." The main lyrics to it are: "Jenny I think you've lost your mind..." This brilliant chick named Angelique posted something on her livejournal today about how this song should be used during a scene with Jenny on the L Word. Why didn't I think of that??

Take a listen and leave some comments if you agree. Maybe we can get the attention of the music supervisor and get it on there!

("Jenny" by Terra Naomi)

And while we've got your attention, L Word music supervisor lady, this song by Terra should be the new theme song:

("Up Here" by Terra Naomi)

Thanks Angelique (who I've never spoken to) for the inspiration!

P.S. It's an absolute amazing coincidence that both Jenny and Terra are Jewish, and today is the first day of Hanukkah. Wow...

wow, i always had a weakspot for jenny in terms of her struggle. it was always so strikingly different from the rest of the show. and she reminds me of one of my girlfriends.

Arlan, I wholeheartedly agree with you in regard to The L Word's new theme song. And if The L Word music supervisor lady won't listen to reason, which would be curiously inexplicable, Terra Naomi should absolutely and unquestionably be invited to perform at The Planet on several future episodes of The L Word. Certainly it's not too early to start planning the guest spots for Season 6 (understandably, as shooting for Season 5 has already wrapped)? A speaking role wouldn't be out of the question. The L Word music supervisor lady? Yes, Ms. Terra Naomi will need to receive your invitation as soon as possible. Thank you for your time.

Arlan, thank you again for introducing me to the talented and beautiful Terra Naomi. I am now a huge fan and I spread the love whenever I can.

i've never seen the L world, but since her name is jenny, terra' song definitely should be played on the show :) and up here would be an awesome theme!!

I am a huge L Word fan!!! I however have never heard of Terra but I am glad I stopped by because she is wonderful she reminds me very much of Ani Difranco. I personally an very fond of the theme song the way it is, but if they do change it "up here" would be ok with me. As far as that crazy bitch Jenny Schecter yeah they def need to play that song for her. If you know of any other artists like Terra I would love to hear about them.

When last season ended off I didn't like Jenny so much but I'm willing to give her another chance. Hopefully the writers will have something good in store for her

I think she is amazing. What can I do to get her promoted as far as the Lword is concerned?
