pussy galore

i'm going to ASSume that Lauren DeRose is a lezzy. i'm going to ASSume this because i saw her play last night in san diego at a club's "Pussy Galore" night.

i know what youre thinkin: arlan, it was at a gay event called "Pussy Galore." she HAS to be a lezzy. well nope, cause the other band that my friends asked me to see arent gay. although im sure everyone in attendance wished they were. check out that band 8mm on their myspace page @ www.myspace.com/8mm. im very new to their music, but im digging it, and "Angel" is a standout. i also hear they had a song on the "Mr & Mrs Smith" soundtrack, so thats almost gay, right?

so back to Lauren. she played after them, with musicians backing her, and i dug it. her myspace page is www.myspace.com/laurenderose. support (what i think is) a lesbian musician! FIRST, go to her page and listen to "Broken Sweet Grateful"...i like when her voice uh...does that thing in it where shes all..."and i feel uuuuglllyyy"...it takes me back to 4 Non Blondes real fast. love it:-)
