Yesterday was "National Coming Out Day." I thought it was really cool of YouTube to have this video on their front page:
I could go into a whole speech about being true to yourself and having the strength to come out...but instead of that, I'll just say that if *you* are watching/reading this, and *you* are struggling with something, just know that *I* am thinking of you and you can get through this. You've got a LOT of young ladies (and some dudes) who read this blog who are there for support as well.
Also...once you come out, you get to openly ogle boobs and fondle them when you please. True story!

I love being out...all this week I have been running coming out stories... from myself and others... including the straight sister of lesbian... I Just came out last month and i still have not told my family... I've been dressing more and more like a "lesbian" and chopping my hair shorter and shorter just waiting for them to ASK ME like that girl was lucky enough to have happen... Damn, If only I had a girlfriend that would make it so much easier ;) Dad this is my girlfriend ----- If you don't approve I'm sorry but tough!

and really cool from youtube that they had it on their frontpage =)
i posted a video in response to that video, and in less than 2 days it had over 20 comments, only two of which were not congratulating me or saying how great people thought it was.
i was really surprised at the amount of positive feedback i got.
also, i was wearing a shane is my homegirl shirt one day and a girl asked me where i got it so she could order one. i told her i couldn't remember the exact url but it was something along the lines of "yourdailylesbianmoment.com"
oops.
i hope she ended up finding the right one. :)
