Hearts and Crafts...

On Monday night I was invited to check out the Girl in a Coma / The Donnas show at the Viper Room in L.A. The show was RAD! Any Morrissey fans? Cause dude was there in the tiny club. Drinkin his Greygoose and whey.

After the show, I met actress Fairuza Balk on the sidewalk and shot the shit with her. She was lovely. Very chill and friendly.

The little encounter made me a bit nostalgic. It also made me wonder how many of my readers have NOT seen the movie "The Craft" in which Fairuza scared the living daylights out of us all, while simultaneously turning us on. That, my friends, is a gift.

How many of you sat around in a circle with your friends after you saw this movie and tried to make one of them float? Just me? Oh well...

Show your Fairuza love in the comments. And if this is your first time hearing about her, rent "The Craft," "Almost Famous," and "The Waterboy."

I've been wanting to get The Craft on DVD for like forever...I've been procrastinating big time. It's cool that you met Fairuza. Meeting famouse people is fun. I never tried the light as a feather stiff as a board thing. My sister did once though. Don't know if it worked, I wasn't actually there.

What is it with me and the long comments tonight? Must.stop.typing.now.

Oh man, I'm mad jealous that you got to meet Fairuza. I've had a crush on her since before I knew what I was feeling was a crush.

There should be a "Fairuza is my Homogirl" t-shirt . . . I'd buy one!

Haha... every pajama party for the next 5 years was plagued with the light as a feather stiff as a board thing. There was no avoiding it!

I <3 The Craft. Got it on DVD for $6.88 at Walmart homie! Booyah

Fairuza is quite the hottie! Light as a feather, Stiff as a board has never worked for me no matter how many times I've tried it.

Here's a movie idea....Angelina Jolie and Fairuza as lesbian lovers!

You are by far the luckiest person alive if you met Ru in person!
I envy you now and forever! haha

I blame Fairuza for my evil chick obsession. Ever since "The Craft," all it takes is a girl's maniacal laugh and I'm hers for the taking.

wait, so if she a lesbian or not?

See, it must be so amazing living in CA... you get to meet random celebrities. On the sidewalk.

Drunk, even.

I am pretty sure that Fairuza is straight. My ex boyfriend had the hugest crush on her, but, then, he did seem to have crushes on girls that are not straight. ;-) I don't know...

I'm pretty sure she was my very first crush.
I performed her monologue from The Craft about God and the Devil playing football in high school drama class.

So hot.

Aah, but then there's her early, EARLY stuff that shows how much of a geek I am.....we can't forget The Worst Witch or Return to Oz...totally not hot in those cuz she's, like, 10, but she was still intriguing...

hahaha we totally tried to make one of our friends float after watching that!

There's something really dominating about her. I don't know if I think she's attractive or not. But there's one thing...her eyes are absolutely stunning...
