I dig this chicks (and her friend's) moxie. Instead of just sending a request for me to get the word out about her show--a request I get probably a dozen times per day--she went the extra step and made a quick video explaining her next 2 gigs. I like that. So if you're in the L.A. area on July 5th and/or 15th, stop by the Mint and Hotel Cafe respectively, and check out Kristi Jo. I'll be at Hotel Cafe on the 15th to see my friend Amy Kuney play at 11pm, so I'm going to make my way there early to catch Kristi Jo's set. Holler!
