I want my M(cphee)TV
One of my friends who lives near me gave me her old TV yesterday! I hadn't seen any television in about 5 weeks (but who's counting) because I had to give mine away when I moved. So she's a lifesaver. Thanks Jaimie! The one sad thing is, I got it only hours after my wife Katharine Mcphee-Hamilton (shhh) appeared on Leno Friday night. Loyal reader and my sister-in-lez Shaye informed me today that it's now available on youtube. So here ya go:

Yesterday after I got the tv, I watched HOURS of "Gunsmoke", as well as discovering "Hey Paula" and even catching the "Good Times" episode where Penny was burned by her crazy mama! I also watched 3 hours of "A.I. Artificial Intelligence"...you know that movie with Jude Law and Haley Joel Os...whatever? I've seen it before years ago, but I forgot how freakin' AWESOME it is! And I don't normally like sci-fi movies at all. This one just has so much imagination and so many surprises. It makes you wonder and dream bigger...and hope harder...much like Oprah. *sigh* And after my "Girlfriends" marathon to end the night, I have to say that Persia White is STILL fine. DAMN YALL!

I was at a club in West Hollywood on Tuesday called "Eleven" for the opening of the new lesbian night they introduced there that happens weekly. I wasn't really in the best mood because of my family's situation at the time, but I felt it was a good idea to show up and show my support to my friends who help put on these great events.
It definitely is THE spot to be on Tuesday nights if you're a lesbian in Los Angeles. Ourchart even has a whole section now dedicated to pics from L.A.'s lesbian escapades...It's *weird* seeing your friends in pics on a site like that, but very cool. Click here to see the new section on Ourchart!
Anyway, I wore my "Angelina is my homogirl" shirt in olive green because it was dark and I was trying to hide my growing belly (no, I'm not pregnant...just too close to too many fast food places in my new apartment:-/) ...so that was cool. But uh, Jenny Shimizu was there. So it's like...do I take my shirt off and give it to you Jenny Shimizu since she really was your homegirl? Or do I avoid Jenny Shimizu at all costs?
Just something randomly gay that I thought was funny/ironic. You really gotta love this city. It's incredible. I should turn into the Perez Hilton of the L.A. lesbian scene & blog about THAT, cause you wouldn't believe half of the stuff that goes on out here. I'm just a chick from Texas tryin' to make it in this crazy, mixed up world.

I came across this film from Taiwan called "Spider Lilies" a few days ago. (A couple of days later, this chick mentioned it to me too...so thanks for lookin' out!)
In my lesbian research, I've found that most reviews of the movie--which was released this year--are pretty bad. Lots of promise, they say...but just doesn't deliver. So I figured I'd give you what are probably the best of the movie right here: the trailer and the love scene. That's usually true of lots of movies, now that I think of it. Hmmm...

UPDATE: Whew! It was touch and go for a while there. When I ask for feedback, you give FEEDBACK. Jesus. Ok so I've learned a few things this afternoon:
1. Lesbians don't like bright colors
2. Lesbians don't like change
3. Lesbians don't like their lesbian moments to have large font, so they can read and masturbate on the d.l.
4. Lesbians are awesome and speak their minds
5. If I ever, ever, ever try to stop publishing this blog, you will all find me and hunt me down. I've been jumped into this gang and I ain't ever gettin' out.

Aw, and yeah, you guys are right. I like this template a lot better. I should have never questioned Green's vision. Ha...

"Real" Lesbians: Horny Feeliacs
I first introduced you guys to this couple in -->this post a few months ago.
They're on my radar again after stumbling on new vids. I've got a few years under my belt, and I've learned many things. One of those things is that when you're feeling down...when you're feelin' low...nothing says *lovin'* like looking at boobs. Lesbian Drama...
I used to think the phrase "lesbian drama" was just something someone made up that didn't really mean anything. Sort of like "crunk," or "sexellent" or "no Arlan, you can't touch my breasts."
But today I'm having a hard time putting together a post because of some lesbian drama! And it's not just like...chick drama, or human drama, or 20something's drama. It's very specific to being a lesbian and has only other lesbians involved.
I was trying to write something upbeat or slightly humorous, but I'm in one of those moods where I can't right now. So I figured I'd hear from some of you guys. What do you think of *lesbian drama*? Whats your experience with it been? Do you think it ever goes away? Like, say for instance, when we get out of high school. (Oops, too late)...or when perhaps we reach a certain age? I wish lesbians were like bonds: that they would eventually reach an age of maturity. *sigh*

Jenny Lewis and I adore porn.

what's the square root of bi?
over the past couple of years working on my site, i've seen some bisexual hatin' goin on. and i just dont get it! how can lesbians--women who are in a minority and judged because of their sexual orientation--judge other people...due to their sexual...orientation? it doesn't make a lot of sense, now does it?
i mean obviously there's more support than there is hating. but listen to mary j when she says, "dont need no hateration..." then she talks about hollerations and making hamburgers and leaving patties at the front door, or somethin.

my straight friend Shas has brought us many beautiful things over the past few months. first of all, she's the first person who told me about the hot naked lesbian grinding commercial, which is still my most commented blog post to date. theeen, she came up with the HOT new "your mom is my homegirl" tshirts im selling.

i was reading their FAQ's--yes i read too!--and i really liked their answers to these questions:

Coffee Shop Lesbians...
I go to Starbucks every once in a while. Is that gay or is it too corporate to be gay? Someone hip me to what coffee shops the lesbians are hitting up. Cause I don't drink coffee, I just go in for either a hot chocolate (yes even in the summer) or a tall mocha frap with lots of caramel on top. mmmmmm....
Starbucks really should have live music on certain days/times. There should be someone in each city who's in charge of showcasing local talent. I'm sure they do this at some Starbucks...but I've never seen it.
We'll let's pretend this blog is our own local coffeeshop where we've all met to kick it for a few hours. Sit back, sip on something warm (or iced) and enjoy the musical stylings of these young lesbian artists that I've stumbled upon lately:

On a side note, Brian likes to leave comments letting us know that he is 29 and has never kissed a woman before. I'm not quite sure how he thinks telling a mostly lesbian crowd will help his chances, but i do applaud his effort and tenacity. Therefore, I am calling on any bi/straight single women who'd like to change this. I've never met the dude, so I can't promise that he's not a serial killer...so enter at your own risk. But he seems pretty cool to me. Plus he has *killer* taste in video clips...and blogs;-)
