I came across this video by Brazilian singer Karyn Garcia. It's like Britney's video for "My Purogative," if you only had Britney's catering budget. It starts gettin' *gay* at about 1:50min--if you don't count the queen in the green shirt in the hallway at around 1:05min...ahem.
("Thats the Way I Am" by Karyn Garcia)
Here are some of the lyrics for you smarties who like to read and shit:
That's the way that I am Leave me alone, I know where I wanna go I'm glad I'm the way that I am My life is not your business, and I think you should know What you see is what you get
You think I'm strange Because I didn't act the way I should So what? You think I'm different Cause I don't look the way you thought I would
(UPDATE: If you are having difficulty viewing the video, read the comments. There is some great troubleshooting advice. Check back here for more updates:-) )
*There are a couple of commercials before the main program starts. Be patient, yo. *Only U.S. residents can watch. *It's been edited for a "wider web audience" so curse words and sex scenes (I hope!!) have been taken out.
There will be spoilers in the comments, so DO NOT READ the comments if you don't wanna be...spoiled:-)
So check it. I'm going to the Dinah Shore Weekend in April. And I want all of you to come with me. Let's make this happen, y'all. It will be my first time there, and I've heard from my readers and friends that once I go, I'll never miss one again. If this video from 07's Dinah is any indication, I have to believe that:
Even if you don't think you can make it out to Palm Springs from April 2nd-8th (or just the weekend), you should definitely check out the official website at www.thedinah.com/ cause it'll inspire you to start saving for 09:-)
I'm going to go with a few of my good friends...and as we get closer to the date, I'll let you guys know how to get in touch with me during the weekend. I want to meet as many people who read my blog and go to Dinah as I can! I also want to see as many of you topless as possible. So start working out your seductive choreography. Let's workshop somethin.
Oh and if we do meet up, and then I disappear for a few hours, I'm probably searching the Doral for this chick, who was recently added to the musical line up (The Pussycat Dolls and India Arie have been past performers):
(Colbie Caillat's "Bubbly")
She hasn't come out as a lesbian, so I can only assume she'll wanna make out with me at Dinah. But I'll work on it;-) Wish me luck.
When I was 14 or 15 I would watch this show called "On Our Own." I think it was only on for a season, and it was in that whole "Family Matters"/"Step by Step" category...so it wasn't Emmy award winning stuff we were dealing with. But I dug it cause all but one of the cast members were family in real life.
In 1995 my crush was on a Mr. JoJo Smollett who I believe was 18 or so at the time. He was the eldest brother in the family. He...ahem, yes HE was so cute with his long curly hair and dimples. Aw JoJo. And back then, his younger sister Jurnee was but a precocious child who'd deliver cute lines every once in a while and eat ice cream the rest of the time. Today, Jurnee is starring in the new Denzel Washington movie "The Great Debaters" (the title still makes me giggle), and she's um...well...she's all grow'd up y'all, (21 and legal, yay!) and I've discovered that she's super hot. I mean...smokin...HOT. I mean, if Alicia Keys ever needed someone to play her in a movie, Jurnee would be my first choice.
See for yourself:
This is the opening credits for their old tv show. You notice anything similar about JoJo back then and Jurnee right now? Hmmm...
I think Jurnee, Mcphee, Michelle and I would make some beautiful babies together. Don't you guys?
UPDATE: thanks to Pj for giving us Jurnee's myspace page addy in the comments. I looked through Jurnee's blog posts and came across this one from the summer of 2006...SO awesome:
Please call 202 224 3121 and ask to speak to a senator of your current state as well as the state you are from and tell them your vote depends on their vote on the Federal Marriage Amendment. The constitution is meant to protect rights not take them away. On June 6th Congress wiil vote on a constitutional ban on same sex marriage. Call your senators and tell them to vote NO. Call as many times as possible and forward this email to as many people as possible. If you would like to call the White House as well, the number is 202 456 1111. Every call makes a difference and it takes two minutes. Use your power as a citizen of a democracy!
Here's another one to file in the *in case you missed it folder*. You might recognize the young lady starring in this vid as TV's precocious Beaver from "Leave it to Beaver."
Or not:
("Is Anybody Home?" by Our Lady Peace)
Watching that made me think back to Angelina's post-Gia-filming days when she was nearly bald, and painfully beautiful (still is), and she starred in the video for the Rolling Stones "Has Anybody Seen My Baby?" What is it with these song titles being questions? Eh?
I'm a gay. So of course I tivo the mothership, Ellen's show every day. I don't get a chance to watch every episode, but when I saw the description "15 year old does Johnny Cash covers," I had to check it out. Um...do what now?? This is amazing:
(Vince Mira)
I think he should tour with Girl In a Coma and Morrissey when they do their European tour early in 08. What do you guys think?
That reminded me of an episode earlier this year with this 6 year old chick named Emily Bear:
Another great teaser from Ourchart.com...looks like someone read my open letter to the writers, hmm? *whisper*sex*whisper*:
K first of all, how cool is Jennifer Beals? She seriously needs to do a book on cd. Some sort of meditation help or children's books...somethin. I'd buy it. She also needs to have a talk-off with Padma Lakshmi and film it for me.
Second, Rachel Shelley saying the words "naked shower scenes" is worth the price of admission.
I wanna kick it with Rose Rollins. She seems cool/real as hell.
Warning: There are NO women being sprayed with champagne in this video. There are no men popping up in between two women kissing in this video and calling one of them "lil ma'". There are no webcams, fruit feeding, or leopard stroking (at least as far as we can see). If you do not enjoy real lesbians lying in bed and singing lesbian type words, please do not go any further in this post. If you are averse to the double tank top phenomenon known as "Bette/Jody/Tina" syndrome, you may also want to shield your eyes. And finally, if your body is not able to process observing lesbians lean and stretch against fences while exposing star tattoos and their aching hearts...turn back now and get your money back from the concession booth.
I'm not entirely sure what I think of this yet, but it's leaning towards *yay for lezzy content* for now. From what I've been able to surmise with my lesbian detective kit, she *loooves heeeer*. I could be wrong:
("Stay With Me")
This one's a bit different in that it's a spoof (*no comment*) and meant to be funny. Sure thing. Alls I know is, there are lesbians, dykes and queers in every nook and cranny of this vid, so it has secured its place as a daily lesbian moment:
("Do You Have a Lover?")
Kick it with Sandra and show her some love on her myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/sandragracemusic. It's like gay boy music for girls, I suppose. Good job, Sandra:-) *Here's* hoping for more ladies to follow...
I'm officially calling for a buddy-slash-lesbian flick starring Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood. This Ellen Page chick is rockin my world right now after seeing "Juno" last night. If you haven't seen it yet, I'm pretty sure you're gonna love it. Two enthusiastic middle fingers in the sky for me. It's in limited release in L.A. and NYC right now and will go wide on Christmas day. Do yourselves a favor and make the late night showing after you've downed all the eggnog (with a responsible driver, of course) and tried on all your sweater vests. In fact, go one step further and put some eggnog in a flask, and wear your sweater vest to the theater. You won't be the only ones.
The trailer is good...but doesn't do the movie justice, in my opinion. There are some quotes to last a lifetime. And some lovely Napoleon Dynamite-esque touches that will make you wanna own the DVD. This ain't a film review. It's a promise:
It sort of scares me. The stretching and reaching and pulling and upsidedowniness of it all. And the cleansing of your aura business is a little foreign to me. But I do like the idea of meditation and it's something I plan on exploring very soon. I'll be all Bette circa L Word season 3 on your asses in no time.
If I do get into meditation, I'll most certainly want this woman's voice on cd telling me when to breathe in and out. She also has a very interesting theory about homosexuality...leave a comment and let me know what you think. Remember, there's a good chance she'll eventually read them, and while I encourage free speech and the voicing of your uncensored opinions, I ask that you please be respectful when expressing them.
I'm gonna go try *Downward Doggiestyle Dildo* over in the corner here. Anyone wanna join me?
Reading all of the secrets you guys have been sending me on Myspace made me want to post "Whether You Fall" by Tracy Bonham as today's lesbian moment. I had hoped it would help some of you through the tough times you're having, cause I know it's certainly helping me.
While searching for the official video for the song or the snippet from it's appearance on The L Word (Season 3), I came across this chick's cover of the song. She's 19, lives in France...and is absolutely AMAZING. She's a gem. Remember today, because we're discovering greatness. I don't know if she's gay, straight or somewhere in between, but I'm officially giving her an honorary lesbian card.
I've got goosebumps...
When she hits the chorus to this song, I want to cry...
Your talent is a wonderland...
Her accent is SO cute/beautiful. "Nevermind," call me when you're 21 baby. See ten more songs (covers and originals) on her youtube profile at youtube.com/nevermind150788
And for the original Tracy Bonham song that I mentioned earlier, click here.
Hi everybody, There's an auction happening right now to raise money for this amazing organization called Farm Sanctuary that I work with. One of the items in the auction is hanging out with me. We could eat lunch and go surfing or catch a yoga class or just chill. If you're interested, here's the link to the auction:
They do amazing work advocating for the rights of animals to live without being subjugated to violence. They've been around for over 20 years. They started out selling tofu dogs at farmer's markets to fund their work. Nowadays they have 2 sanctuaries for rescued farm animals. You can even visit and stay there and hang out with all the amazing beasts there. They work tirelessly to get laws passed to protect farm animals from abuse. They also educate people about how amazing animals are and ways we can live with them peacefully. Check out their link:
Thanks for reading this and I hope you are having an amazing early winter. In Love and Revolution, Daniela Sea
That's pretty hot if you ask me. Of course I'd choose the surfing lesson and lunch. Cause there's nothing I like more than eating...and falling on my face in a dangerous situation, in front of Daniela Sea...while wearing swimwear. Yum yum in my tum tum.
Seriously this is really cool. If anyone who reads my site has an *extra* thousand bucks or two and happens to win this, you'll have to tell us all about it.
This happened earlier this year and I totally missed it. There's lots of gay to process on a daily basis...so for those of you who haven't seen this, I say, good show:
Cause like...first they gave us some really great promos for the new season. Promos that didn't have me throwin things at my screen or shaking my fist at the writing gods.
Then they tell me that Helena is going to partake in prison sex. And to be honest, if it were 13 episodes of Helena and prison sex, I'd be sold.
But now? NOW, L Word?? They tell me...*deep breath*...that one of my favorite random chicks in the WORLD is a new character on the show?? Loyal stalkers of my site will remember that I have been watching General Hospital for 20 years. It's hard to explain, but it's like this comforting constant in life. No matter what I'm going through and no matter where I am in life, Carly and Sonny are still over there saying "Corinthos" in the thickest Spanish accent they can find. Days, weeks...months could go by, and I can turn on the tv at 2pm and find my GH family, still rockin.
One of the characters that was on for a few years was a chick named "Courtney." Alicia Leigh Willis played her, and I would watch it every chance I could while she was on, cause um...well look at her:
Alicia is going to be playing a woman named "Cindy" on the L Word this season, and I think she's hooking up with Tasha or Tasha's ol' girl. Im not sure. But the important part is that my MAJOR GH crush is going to be doin' it with a girl on tv!! I always hoped she'd do Elizabeth or Emily on GH, but nooo. Now all of my praying and crying has paid off.
Click here to see the 5 minute video interview with Alicia and Rose (Tasha).
Thank you, Ilene. But don't think this means I'm letting you off the hook for "who dat?" or Betty.
I have an announcement to make: I'm gaining weight. Now I know this is shocking to some of you, but I do not want to cause you distress. Please everyone, calm down and get back in your seats. I will answer any and all questions you have, if you'll get them to me in an orderly fashion, and stop with your crying.
My belly is round, like Santa's. It's getting rounder. More round. Whichever is the correct way of saying HUGE in an orbital way. It does not help that in the last 30 minutes I have had a 99cent bag of Doritos, about a million Hershey's Hugs, and a bottle of Smirnoff Ice. And it's midnight. *sigh*
Hopefully I'll snap out of this little emotional eating phase I'm going through very soon so I won't have to roll myself to West Hollywood. I like to be light as a feather (and stiff as a board, *wink wink*) when I go trollin' for the ladies. I also like to sit by myself while waiting for friends and spark up conversations with strangers. I'm an extremely curious person by nature and it helps keep me on my toes. Plus by doing this, you sometimes get to meet some really funny chicks who help make you forget about why you're emotionally eating in the first place.
Last week I met this chick named Val. Val is a *gay* I can hear you gasping from here! Turns out Val and her friend (just friends...Val has a girlfriend and I think this other chick Beth is a breeder...the mystery continues though) have this hilarious vlog that a lot of dudes watch. And while it's not super important that they're one-half lezzy, since it really has nothing to do with their talent on screen (in the boudoir? Well thats another question),I think it's time we added some good ol' fashioned LADIES to their viewing audience.
I'd like to introduce you to...
"The Beth and Val Show"
Haha...sarcasm never looked so good. You can add the ladies on their official myspace page at myspace.com/bethandval. Tell em Arlan sent you and I'm pretty sure they'll give you a virtual lapdance.

Hey ladies. :)
Well, for starters, I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, and barely 2 months ago I moved out here for school. I'm a full-time Graphic Design student at the Art Institute of California - Los Angeles. I love nearly all forms of art. Music, painting, poetry, etc. My musical tastes are quite eclectic. They range from Paramore, to Eminem, to Godsmack, to Alex Parks, to Rascal Flatts, etc. I'm currently learning how to play guitar, and I love writing poems. Writing helps me release emotions I don't really know how to express. I love to laugh, I have a great sense of humor, and I'm a laid-back kind of girl. I'm a very open-minded person, but at the same time, I know what I want, and I can be very stubborn. So, when I get my mind set, you'll probably need a miracle to change it. I don't smoke and I rarely drink. And I've never done drugs and I don't ever plan to. When I first meet someone, I'm more quiet and shy, but it usually doesn't take long for me to open up. :)
One of my favorite things to do lately is skateboarding around Venice Beach on Sundays. I've gone to Venice just about every Sunday since I've been here and I've found it to be a nice way to settle down and relax after a week of school. (So, if you happen to be at Venice on a Sunday, and see a cute, short girl smiling at you...say hello, 'cause chances are that's me and I'm too shy to say hello myself.) :)
Lastly, *takes a deep breath* ..I've never had a girlfriend before...nor...(and I'm really kind of embarrassed to say this..)...have I even kissed a girl. That doesn't mean I don't know what I want though. I could get into all my experiences through high school, but I think I'll save that for another day. :) But anyways, growing up in a town of barely 8,000 people with a "small-town-attitude" never helped my chances at finding a girl...who was into girls. Haha. Along with that, I didn't start coming out as a lesbian until roughly a year ago. Sooo, I'm looking not only for a few new friends, but also...my first girlfriend. ;) If you're interested in getting to know me better (since this is just a tiny sliver of my life), send me a message, and add me on Myspace. ;)

Name: Anna Age: 28 Location: Olive Hill, Kentucky Status: Single Looking for: Friendship, Dating MySpace: myspace.com/AstridsAshes
I live near Olive Hill, Kentucky on a 50-+-acre farm with my sister, cats and dogs. I love city life and have moved around a lot, but there's something so organic and empowering when I'm connected to nature. The only thing I don't like about living in the country is the lack of lesbian community. All 6 of my lesbian friends are paired up and stay home most of the time. See, I watch the L Word to see other lesbians. lol.
Born, I believe, a hippie feminist anarchist lesbian to a very conservative family, the daughter of a preacher, I continuously encourage rebellion (my own and others'). I'm very passionate, emotional and intuitive, kind of a romantic, an idealist and a total bleeding-heart. Usually, I cry if you cry, or I cry if I hear a sad or inspirational animal story or I watch almost any movie with Meryl Streep in it (woman's got some sad-ass movies); still, I'm kind of fierce at times. Men sometimes fear me and I have a problem with authority figures (and I don't mean fun role-playing authority, more like the government, cops and other really undeservedly-privileged/bossy people).
I'm not over a good party and occasionally throw down. I like to live simply, sleep on a mattress on the floor, am not a high-maintenance kind of girl and I don't relate much to the value system of our mainstream culture. Being rich is not a goal for me. I'm anti-bourgeois, anti-corporation, anti-patriarchal, anti-white-supremacist, anti-fascist. I seek meaningful employment and hope to direct or start a nonprofit for women one day, but in the meantime, I am working for the man, at&t, since the pickings are slim and survival is a priority.
I love to sing. I especially love live music, many kinds. I love to go to the theatre, see operas, plays, musicals, whatever, just take me out...but not to the ballgame unless there's beer because I hate sports (there are exceptions, like volleyball). I like a good balance of alone/down time and being out-and-about, into anything that's going on. I love a good movie or a good book, poetry, talking political theory and sociology. I'm sometimes very irresponsible, in general, a risk-taker. I'm sometimes very conscious and when it comes to trusting, cautious. Once I trust, loyalty is my middle name.
I love people, in spite of my complete lack of naivety. I believe skepticism is important, but I hope to never become cynical. I'm a lesbian and have no interest in dating or sleeping with men at all ever. I have been in relationships with men in the past and you can stick a fork in me 'cause I'm done there. Of my girlfriends, all but one ended up wanting threesomes with men or simply wanted to be with men, which is why I'm very single. While I like to have fun and am non-judgemental about non-monogamy, I want more. Monogamy is a choice thing for me, and I'm into it.
Ok, let's get physical. I'm a curvy girl. Red/auburn hair, shoulder-length, brown eyes, 5'7" tall. Me, I don't have a specific type. I love women (and that does not mean I'm a player). I love the way you smell, the way you taste, soft skin, your voice when we're alone in a room and your attention is on me or in a crowd when I'm proud you're my honey. I love your quiet strength and when you voice ferocity and when you have nothing to say but you share the silence with me anyway. I love complexity and unpredictability, though I value stability. I love to kiss and take time. If you play musical instruments, you may win my heart at once. Nothing hotter than a woman with a guitar. I'd really love to share art and music, maybe even sing or write together. Around 22-36 age range is best with a good balance of maturity and frivolity. Long-distance isn't bad, but it's difficult and less likely that things would work out; but I also realize I live in the far reaches, so I'm willing to compromise within reason. If this sounds like too many expectations, don't think you'd be wasting my time saying wassup. Friends are good too. Besides, I hate rules. I don't rule out much without further investigation.

Hi! My name is Cassie. I'm a college student attending Front Range, studying to be a nurse. When I'm not at school or working, you can find me at the local hookah bar, shopping, or at a cute coffee shop with a book. I enjoy going out and dancing, but I also enjoy laid-back nights at home with a movie. I'm bisexual and have had my heart broken by both women and men. I'm a fun-loving, easy going, hard working woman who is looking for the same!
I'm looking to date a woman who knows how to act like a lady and treat me like the lady I am! I have dated lipstick lesbians in the past but I'm very open minded (open minded doesn't mean I don't believe in monogamy!). I want a woman who takes care of herself, who works hard, is spontaneous, and knows how to make me laugh. I want someone who motivates me to be a better person, but also someone who can learn from me. I want someone I can go to the gym with and later have a nice dinner at a Sushi bar! If you think we would be a good match, or if you are just looking for a local lady-lover like myself to chat with, definitely hit me up!

Yep, our friends at Ourchart.com just announced something HUGE. They're going to show the premiere of the new season a week early on their site! Click here to read the details.
I am not sure if you can watch this if you're outside of the U.S. That might be a good question to ask on the site when you're leaving a comment letting them know how awesome they are (and that you heard about this on my site;-) )
The official premiere date for The L Word, Season 5 is January 6th, 2008. This special premiere will happen on December 30th. Aw, yeah.
The 3rd L Word Convention in the UK took place November 30th-December 2nd in Blackpool. Since most of us weren't able to jet over to the event, Becky has been so kind as to give us her account of what (and who?) went down. See the end of this post to see the new info on L4 that is happening in March 08!
Friday:
**First impressions** After travelling hours to the event (my 3 hours were dwarfed when I discovered people came from Kenya and the US!) we discovered on arrival that the rumours we’d heard the day before were true! Laurel Holloman was to attend L3! And Uh Huh Her were to perform that very night! Queue, queue, queue for registration and photos and to pick up our name tag with Erin, Leisha or Kate on it – great opportunity to check out the rest of the guests and also to grab a free lolly pop. I know it’s a strange thing to mention but they were goooooood (the lolly pops). I was pretty shocked at the lack of younger people on the Friday but more showed up on the next two days which was great – such a variety of people from all different ages and backgrounds. Pretty much 99.9% gay ladies though. And so many couples! I was there with my best friend and we both left our girls back home so it was pretty heart wrenching seeing everyone so loved up.
**Uh Huh Her** First of all – Camilla is extremely talented! She sings the lead and plays bass/keyboard. It was spot on. Leisha, Leisha, Leisha… what can I say? When she sang she was fantastic but she was swaying all over her keyboard! Didn’t make any mistakes that I noticed but was pretty damn fun to watch! Perhaps a bit of alcohol was to blame.
They slowed down for a ballad and Leisha’s talents shone through, but the crowd were slighty over-excited when she looked at Camilla all the way through as if she was singing it to her. A mention has to go to the bloke who played guitar on stage. I spoke to him the day after and he’s such a lovely guy! The set ended with Say So and it was fantastic! Hats off to Uh Huh Her who are still on the look out for a drummer by the way; if you can play they’ll be holding auditions when they get a chance.
Talking of a lack of drummer… they asked an audience member to air drum for them. Someone got up on stage with them and then proceeded to STRIP! I can’t say I blame the girl for making the most of it but after a while it was like… hello – this is LEISHA HAILEY’s thunder you’re stealing! Drum! Fortunately another girl air drummed for them (it’s a vital role in a band) and she was awesome!
Saturday:
**Photos**
Skipped the party on Friday night to be fresh faced for the photos the following day. The first one was with Leisha Hailey. She rocks. Big time. Seriously. I was wearing a The Murmurs t-shirt and when she saw it she was surprised she LOVED it! She was all “wow that’s so old!” and then she told me it was the “funniest thing ever!” and she even told Cam about it at the signings! She was chatting to my friend and I for a long time compared to most other guests and she was so friendly it was so refreshing to see she was so down to earth and chatty and fun! There was a large queue though so we couldn’t stay long, next was Erin Daniels. She was stunning! Her hair was gorgeous, she’s gone blond but it suited her so well! She was less chatty but I think it was because my friend froze on the spot when she saw her, bless!
Said friend went to see Eric Mabius and she had a long conversation with him as his queue was much smaller than Leisha’s had been. She says, and I agree (I met him at the signings), that he is one of the loveliest guys she’s ever met. And you know, he made an effort! He asked people their names and engaged them in conversation it was brilliant how down to earth he is considering he’s possibly the most famous of the guests there at the moment due to the success of Ugly Betty. After that was Kate. I don’t know why I was so shocked but when she said hi I just thought “Oh my God her voice is REAL!” she seemed shy in comparison to the other guests, I always read her saying she’s shy in magazine articles but I don’t think anyone quite believed it. It’s true! She was sweet and we only got to say hi and bye (due to the longest queue of all the guests there) but that was all that was needed! Can I mention her voice again? Yeah!
At the autograph signing we got a chance to have a chat with Erin Daniels about random things from Tegan and Sara to the Land Ahoy commentary. She’s absolutely gorgeous with a smashing personality and a fabulous sense of humour to go with it. I got a chance to talk to Laurel too she’s grown her hair long and it looks great. She’s lost a bit of weight too. We told her how cool her hair is and she looked pleased! I also must say – YUMMY MUMMY!
**Guest Talks**
Adrienne Wilkinson is INSANE but in the best way possible! Totally funky and crazy! She kept us all entertained brilliantly and even sang for us! And did the Xena war cry! She showed us this weird clip about… God knows what. It was just odd. And boring. But then she showed another clip which was pretty good! Sorry… I don’t really remember much about them.
Highlights of the talks include:
Fan: Do you prefer chocolate or sex? Erin: Yes! Which one? Erin: Yes! But chocolate or- Erin: Yes!
Eric: Does the carpet match the drapes? Laurel: Erm……
Erin’s English accent – including Ab Fab impression
Leisha: Waaah wuuh waaah Kate: Eeee eeee eeee!
Camilla: *pout*
Adrienne: AAAAIIIIIIIIEEEEEEAAH (Xena war cry)
The Saturday night party ruled! Drunken lesbians! Every Girls Aloud and Rhianna song in existence! COOOOOL!
Gossip/rumours/revelations/news from the weekend: Kate Moennig hates chocolate It’s pronounced “Pishetski!” Leisha was in shock! Laurel has lost weight and has long hair! Erin has gained weight (good!) and gone blond! Leisha not only plays bass and keyboard but she stares at Cam and sways too Erin didn’t want to leave the show and thinks Alice/Dana are perfect together Laurel wants Bette and Tina forever Eric says Victoria Beckham’s appearance on the show came about due to a misquote in the press but they went along with the idea anyway No one likes Jenny but everyone loves Mia
Much love! ~Becky xx
Thanks Becky for that awesome breakdown of events. I felt like I was there:-) And I hope I can be there for recently announced L4, happening in Heathrow, UK from March 14th-16th. Already scheduled to appear, Sarah Shahi (Carmen), Laurel Holloman (Tina) and um...Rachel Shelley. I SO wanna be invited to that. You hear that L4 promoters? Invite me to attend and I'll promote the HELL out of the event. I'll make sure every lesbian that ever thought about going on Myspace knows about it:-)
You can buy your tickets to L4 by clicking here. Remember, tickets do not include accommodations or food. They do however include RACHEL effin' SHELLEY all up in your face and 'er.
I saw this vid on P!nk's main myspace FANpage earlier today.
I love how *over* these paparazzi dudes she is. But she's still nice to em. That's our P!nk.
Oh and um, if I were having breakfast where she was and I saw her out in the parking lot, she'd SO win my favorite game. If you don't know what my favorite game is, click here to read about it.

But it took a complete stranger to help me figure out something that should have been SO obvious from the moment I heard one song in particular...
This song is called "Jenny." The main lyrics to it are: "Jenny I think you've lost your mind..." This brilliant chick named Angelique posted something on her livejournal today about how this song should be used during a scene with Jenny on the L Word. Why didn't I think of that??
Take a listen and leave some comments if you agree. Maybe we can get the attention of the music supervisor and get it on there!
Experiencing some lesbian drama right now? Perhaps asking yourself the age-old question every one of us has asked, "Why do I even try to deal with these crazy females?"
Have a lesbian headache?
Well, just call me Doctor Luv (or Raquel...I like "Raquel") cause I've got the answer AND remedy:
Thanks to the "Georgia Peach" for sending this my way!
See the end of this clip to see which song is being used. And for the love of crispy cream donuts, go give your girlfriend a firm handshake and a tickle.
